Permanent magnets encased with pot shape steel shells are named cup magnets or pot magnets.According to different magnetic materials,cup (pot) magnets are divied into pot neodymium magnet,pot alnico magnet,pot ferrite magnet.Their magnetic strength and prices will be relatively large differences.

Rare earth neodymium magnets have high magnetic energy and are always used to make mounting/holding magnets for heavy-duty applications.Thanks to the steel cups,as a new type of ring magnets with steel cups housed outside,are called straight hole neodymium pot/cup magnet,the finished magnetic system has several times the magnetic holding force of the naked neodymium magnets.
